Oregano

Thyme, the general name of the genus Thymus, Thymbra, Origanum, Coridothymus, Satureja, from the Lamiaceae family, is the common name of the plant species seen in lawns, fields, forest shores and meadows, known for its unique smell. By water vapor distillation of the leaves and flowers of the thyme plant, a 2%-8% burning, delicious, aromatic and fragrant essential oil is obtained. Thyme, a spice also used in cooking, is famous for its scent. Due to the presence of essential oil in the leaves of thyme, it loses its effectiveness if tea is made by boiling the plant.
