Linden

It is from the linden family. It is a tall tree with whitish-yellow colored, fragrant flowers blooming between June and August. Although it is generally found naturally in forests, it is also grown in parks and gardens as an ornamental tree. Its leaves are stalked, pointed at the tip, toothed on the edges, heart-shaped at the base, green on the upper surface, whitish green and hairy on the lower surface. Their flowers grow droopingly, at least three of them together. The flower cover is boat-shaped and yellowish-green in color. Its fruits are sphere-shaped and have a single seed. The linden tree grows from the sprout. It lives for a maximum of one year. Linden is good for many diseases, especially due to the antioxidants it contains. Along with respiratory diseases, it also increases the body's resistance against cancer cells due to the antioxidant called Quercetin.
